Palworld – How To Get Ingots

Palworld has numerous items that you can craft, but you do need the right materials. One of these is created using ores found in various biomes. Here’s our guide on how to get Ingots in Palworld, which has finally come to PS5 following nine months on Xbox and PC.

You can get these all-important resources by converting Ore via the Primitive Furnace. The task itself sounds simple, at least on paper, but there are other facets worth considering.

Where to find Ore Deposits

Ore Deposits are found in numerous areas, though the nodes aren’t as plentiful as Stone Deposits. Also when comparing the two, you’ll notice that Stone Deposits have a grayish color, whereas Ore Deposits have a brownish-red hue.

Once you discover these types of nodes, make sure you have a Stone Pickaxe equipped. This tool grants improved yields whenever you mine deposits, which also means you’ll acquire more raw materials in return.

How to build and use the Primitive Furnace to craft Ingots

The Primitive Furnace, meanwhile, is unlocked via the Technology tree (i.e. it’s a level 10 tech blueprint). You can then build it once you have the following materials:

  • 20x Wood – Gathered on the ground or from chopping down trees.
  • 50x Stone – Gathered on the ground or, as noted earlier, mined from deposits.
  • 3x Flame Organ – Often dropped by fire-type Pals, such as Foxspark.

Each Ingot in Palworld requires 2x Ore to produce. Apart from this, you also need a means of igniting the flames. We recommend catching a Pal with the Kindling work suitability, such as the aforementioned Foxspark.

If you assign a Foxspark to your base, all you need to do is select the Ingot recipe via the Primitive Furnace. The Foxspark will then automatically work on this task until it’s completed. You can learn more about this mechanic in our Pal management guide.

What are Ingots used for

Ingots are required by many crafting blueprints. Here are some examples:

  • Early-to-mid-game weapons and tools, such as the Metal Axe, Metal Pickaxe, and Crossbow all require Ingots.
  • You need Ingots to craft Nails, which are subsequently used to construct higher-tier objects and workbenches.
  • Ingots are also used to create saddles, which let you ride Pals as ground mounts or flying mounts.

This is how you get more Ingots in Palworld. Don’t forget that this resource is just one of many that you need to amass, especially if you want to progress further into the campaign.

Wide-open expanses, unique biomes, and even stranger creatures await you in Palworld. You can learn more about the game in our guides hub.

PSX 2015- Sony celebrates its fans and its (large) lineup

I feel like I could re-run last year's editorial on the PlayStation Experience keynote, minus the bits about how it was a bold decision for the company to throw its own event (it's a still a smart one, but now it's not new.)

This year's PlayStation Experience keynote presentation saw the company blasting through game announcements left and right; it was like last year, but more so. Sony's presentation was peppy, full of games, and fully fan-oriented.

As in Las Vegas in 2014, so in San Francisco in 2015 — the company has the stage to itself (quite literally, as compared to an event like E3 or Gamescom) so there was no posturing. It was figuratively true, too — at l…

In its statement, Ruckus highlighted that prototype as proof its development costs "remain much lower than triple-A, while the team still delivers that same level of quality and fun of titles with exponentially bigger budgets."
