FunFair Games new real-money multiplayer innovation, AstroBoomers- To the Moon!, launches exclusively with Betsson Group before May 11 network-wide debut

British iGaming innovator FunFair Games has revealed its very first real-money multiplayer game, AstroBoomers: To the Moon!, which from May 11th can be accessed exclusively through Spearhead Studios platform, after on April 26th having launched with key brands of multi-product online gaming company Betsson Group AB (STO:BETS-B), courtesy of an exclusive deal with the Swedish firm.

Offering a “community-based experience,” the first-of-its-kind release invites communities of adventure-seeking players to flee to the moon in a rocket in an attempt to escape the earth where a storm of intergalactic meteors threatens human existence. If they leap to safety at just the right time, prizes of up to 2,500 times the original stake could be their reward, while wins are capped at 250,000.

Nerves will be tested as gamers challenge their fellow astronauts to see who is able to stay onboard the longest for a chance to claim maximum rewards, either by placing up to three bets per round or choosing the auto-eject options.

Community-based experience:

Anticipating that the firm’s debut title will be the “undisputed king of crash games,” Chief Operating Officer for FunFair Games, Lloyd Purser said in a company press release…

“The simple yet compelling gameplay offers the kind of active and community-based experience demanded by a new generation of players and putting a fresh spin on the content available within today’s largely solitary slots sector.”

The COO went on to explain that while “slots will always have their place,” the move to multiplayer within real-money gaming “has arrived quicker than many anticipated and there is a big demand for innovative and differentiated content that appeals to Gen Y audiences.” It’s growth, he said, “has arisen through a new generation who are constantly connected, enjoy simple, social concepts they can share and who we believe will take this form of gaming to a global scale.”

Purser added that it is “fantastic” to see the “release launch exclusively with such a well-known operator as Betsson Group,” and they are “sure it will prove popular with its extensive player base” as they “build up to the title’s eagerly awaited network launch!”

New day in iGaming:

The groundbreaking release from the company formed out of the blockchain group FunFair Technologies is said to exemplify the “community-driven, multiplayer experiences that the firm is pioneering and introducing to the casino sector,” bringing with it “social, active and simple gameplay” to the real money iGaming vertical.

Head of Games and Game Studios for Betsson Group, Paul Malt said they are “thrilled” with the opportunity to exclusively introduce the new game to their customers, and they are “confident that it will be enthusiastically received” across their player base. Lauding FunFair Games as a “highly innovative content developer” that is “pioneering the introduction of real-money multiplayer games” in the sector, Malt added that they “look forward to working with our new partner in what will undoubtedly be a commercial relationship of strong mutual benefit.”

Coming soon:

Also highly-anticipated, the firm that targets Millennial & Generation Z players will launch its second multiplier title, Wheel of Steal, in June this year, prior to a yet-to-be-named game hits the network in August.
